The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced a fresh review of complaints from applicants who were disqualified during its recent recruitment exercise, clarifying that undergoing another screening does not guarantee admission into its training college.
The Service disclosed that its Comptroller-General, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, ordered an individual reassessment of the cases following a meeting with some aggrieved candidates who had initially been shortlisted but were later prevented from advancing to the training stage.
In a statement released on Monday, October 19, 2026, the NCS National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, explained that the review was designed to ensure that valid grievances receive proper consideration while maintaining the integrity and established standards of the recruitment process.
