NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi has said he has no objection to the release of his academic records amid reports of legal efforts to obtain Certified True Copies of his university certificates and other educational documents.
In a statement shared on X on Tuesday, Obi acknowledged reports concerning a request for certified copies of his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), which he obtained in 1984, as well as documents relating to his admission and academic history.
Obi said he had “absolutely no objection” to the release of the records.
He also urged the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to provide his academic certificates, records and other official documents relating to his admission and studies whenever a legitimate request is made, subject to the limits of the law.
